WHO WE ARE

Purpose-Built for Rural Transformation

The Foundation for Development of Rural Value Chains (FDRVC) is a Section-8 not-for-profit company established in February 2019 under a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) and Tata Trusts.

FDRVC functions as a specialized agency to design, incubate and scale producer-owned enterprises (PEs / FPOs) and to develop resilient, market-facing value chains in farm and non-farm sectors with a sustained emphasis on women and tribal producers.

Over ₹175 Crore in payments made directly to farmers through our entrepreneurial initiatives.

Gap Analysis & DPR

Value-addition gap studies are conducted followed by preparation of a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for each cluster.

Projects are implemented by converging institutional initiatives and conducting capacity-building and business management training, prioritising technology and quality.

The entire process is continuously monitored and evaluated through ERP by designated staff, ensuring transparency and accountability.
